First and foremost, I must state that Paintworx is a fantastic team!

I was the not-so-proud owner of a dining room in serious need of an update, as well as repairs thanks to water damage from a burst pipe.  When it comes to getting work done in my house, however, I often prefer to do the job myself, because I have been left dissatisfied by the results of the professionals.  Why can’t a painter paint a straight line or fix popped nails?  Why does the handyman leave a mess for me to clean up?   Unfortunately, my dining room was beyond my abilities, so I needed to call for help, and Paintworx came to the rescue. 

Joe and his men showed up within a day or two of my call.  Not only did they listen to what I was looking for, but Joe repeatedly asked questions to make sure that the picture of my new dining room would be clear to all of us.  The room was getting a complete makeover, but the only picture I had, was in my head.  When Joe returned for a measure, he brought along photos of work the group had completed that was similar to what I was looking for; he wanted to ensure that this was indeed the direction I wanted to go.  As we discussed the molding to go on my lower walls, it became apparent that the many outlets were going to pose a problem.  It could have been suggested that the boxes be enlarged to go around the fixtures, but that would have thrown off the proportions.  Instead, they told me that they would frame the molding around each outlet, making the job more challenging, but completely professional.  These guys are not about taking the easiest route to a commission; they are about providing the customer with their best work.  Within no time, I had an estimate and a start date.

When Joe told me they would be there, they were.  There was no putting off or dragging out the project.  This team works efficiently and responsibly.  Though there was plenty of woodworking and sanding, they were meticulous in keeping the rest of my house as unaffected as possible.  When I returned home from work on the day the room was completed, I was amazed!  My dining room was beautiful – beyond what I had envisioned.  I still cannot figure out how they accomplished so much, so quickly, with such precision.  The molding is perfectly matched at the corners (and believe me, there are more than enough corners!), the repairs to my walls ceiling are perfect, and the paint job is beautiful.
